ERRATUM

Unfortunately the original version of the article had the following error.

Within the Appraisal, application and reflection section the dosage of dexmedetomidine as a bolus changed from:

dexmedetomidine as a bolus of 3–8 mcg/kg IV followed by a CRI of 75 mcg/kg/hour (Marcilla et al., 2012; and Risberg et al., 2016)

To:

dexmedetomidine as a bolus of 3–8 mcg/kg IV followed by a CRI of 1.75 mcg/kg/hour (Marcilla et al., 2012; and Risberg et al., 2016)
